RSP Squat
RSP Squat is a fixed-shaft inertial machine for squats and lower-limb vertical pulling variations. The platform, adjustable harness and 1 × 2 transmission support alternating pushing and braking work.
How it works
During the concentric phase, the athlete accelerates the flywheel while rising. On the return, the flywheel's energy generates the load that must be braked in a controlled manner. During a squat, gravity contributes to loading in the descending phase, and the transition requires technical familiarization.
When to choose this model
Choose Squat for squat-specific work and eccentric control of the lower limbs. It is not a weight-stack machine: its response depends on the inertia configuration and the energy imparted by the athlete. The encoder is optional.
Features
- Fixed-radius shaft and 1 × 2 transmission.
- 4 aluminum masses for adjusting inertia.
- 2 adjustable lateral foot supports.
- Adjustable harness and quick rope length adjustment.

Use and adjustments
Position the platform according to the manual and adjust the harness. Set the travel to the desired maximum movement position, keeping the rope taut. Familiarize yourself with the return and braking at low intensity. Avoid abruptly stopping the movement with your legs straight.
Warnings
- Use the machine according to the manual and with appropriate instruction in inertial training.
- Check the installation, mounts, rope and accessories before use.
- Increase intensity progressively and maintain control of the braking phase.
- In rehabilitation, the program and eligibility are determined by a specialist. No medical outcomes or guaranteed injury prevention are promised.
Frequently asked questions
Is the harness included?
Yes. The adjustable harness is part of the standard equipment.
What are its dimensions?
The dedicated dossier and official page state 114 × 54 × 37 cm and 37 kg.
Is the encoder included?
It is not included in this commercial item. Monitoring is configured separately using the sensor appropriate for the machine.
How do I choose the load?
Choose the available configuration and movement intensity according to the athlete's level and objective. For correct use, follow the manual and your coach's instructions.
