Elastic and biomechanical sports tapes for controlled compression, mechanical load management and functional taping. The range includes Strapit ACTIVETAPE, JAYBIRD & MAIS Stretch Tape and BSN Tensoplast Sport, with different levels of stretch, recoil and fixation for sport and professional use.

Apply only to clean, dry and intact skin. The result depends on the taping technique and tension used; complex applications should be performed or taught by a qualified professional.

Understand the difference between the tape families

• Elastic adhesive bandage: Stretch Tape and Tensoplast follow body contours and are suited to controlled compression and supportive wrapping.
• High-recoil elastic tape: ACTIVETAPE combines multidirectional stretch with stronger recoil for applications where mechanical assistance is part of the technique.
• Biomechanical tape: products in this group are chosen for load management rather than simply for skin-like stretch; technique and direction of application matter.

Do not select only by colour or brand. Compare stretch, recoil, width, material, adhesive and water resistance. Excessive tension can cause discomfort, altered sensation or circulation problems, so the application should be checked after movement.
